Purpose

On the occasion of Prof. C. Visvanathan (Environmental Engineering and Management, School of Environmental, Resources and Development, Asian Institute of Technology) visited to Kyoto University from June 5 – 9. The special lecture in Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, Kyoto University was held at GSGES Lecture Room, 2F, Research Building No.5, Kyoto University on June 8 (Fri), 2012. The lecture was in the topic of “Challenges and opportunities with green technology transfer on the 3R”.

Report

Together with 7 faculty members plus 43 students from GSGES were participated in this lecture. The opening address was given by Prof. Shigeo Fujii. Prof. C. Visvanathan presented in the topic of “Challenges and opportunities with green technology transfer on the 3R”. The valuable discussion with the students had been done throughout the lecture. This lecture was closed with great success.
